Formula Quantity in One Can
One 800g can of Holle Goat Dutch Stage 1 typically yields approximately 200 to 210 fluid ounces (or around 6 to 6.5 liters) of prepared formula. This estimate is based on the standard preparation ratio and can vary slightly depending on the exact amount of water and powder used per feeding. Always refer to the can’s preparation instructions for precise mixing ratios.
Storage Life of Holle Dutch Goat Stage 1 Formula
Unopened containers can be used until the expiration date, and once opened, it should be used within 2 weeks.
Duration of Prepared Formula
Prepare a bottle just before feeding, with a 2-hour limit for unused formula at room temperature and 1 hour once feeding has begun. Throw away any remaining formula after feeding, with a note on refrigeration for untouched formula if absolutely necessary.
Preparation for all powdered formulas:
Begin by using freshly boiled water for each of your baby's meals and allow it to cool down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 °C) before mixing it with the formula.
Pour 2/3 of the required boiled water into a clean and sterilized bottle.
Utilize the scoop provided with your formula box (note that spoon sizes may vary by brand and lot). Add the appropriate number of leveled scoops of powder, with 1 leveled scoop per 1oz / 30ml of water.
Close the bottle with the nipple and cap, then vigorously shake until all the powder has completely dissolved.
Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it thoroughly.
Cool the formula to drinking temperature (approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 °C), and ALWAYS test the temperature before feeding to prevent scalding or burning your little one.
Important Information:
Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
Do not alter the strength of feeds by adding extra water/scoops, and refrain from adding anything else to the milk.
Always prepare formula freshly; avoid preparing in advance. Use it immediately and discard any leftovers at the end of the feed.
Avoid heating a bottle in a microwave, as it may result in hot spots that could cause scalding.
Consume all opened formula within 21 days. Never use formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin follows the European standard: day/month/year.
Steer clear of storing formula in areas of high heat or humidity.
