DHA is naturally found in fish oil and algae, and it can also be produced synthetically. Lebenswert incorporates natural fish oil-derived DHA in all its products, while Kendamil formula utilizes DHA sourced from algae, rendering it a 100% vegetarian formula.

Maltodextrin is an unsweetened starchy carbohydrate added to certain formula products to enhance creaminess and satiety. While many babies tolerate maltodextrin well, some may find it challenging to digest. If your baby has a sensitive stomach, you might consider opting for a maltodextrin-free formula like HiPP or Kendamil.

For babies who can easily digest it, maltodextrin serves as an alternative source of carbohydrates, especially beneficial for those sensitive to lactose. Holle formula products often include a gentle, slow-release form of maltodextrin, aiding in keeping hungry babies satisfied for extended periods.

As babies' nutritional needs evolve with age, transitioning to stage 2 formula is recommended once your baby turns 6 months old. Many brands also offer stage 3 formulas for older infants and, in some cases, a stage 4 product designed for those aged 12 months and above. Each brand adopts a slightly different approach based on their own research.

Continuing with stage 1 formula after 6 months might be more expensive, particularly because certain brands, like Holle, provide more formula in each box in the later stages than they do in stage 1.

The quantity of servings per box varies depending on the brand and your baby's age, with box sizes typically ranging from 400g to 900g.

For example, a 900g box of formula, like Nannycare, typically yields approximately 70 servings. The exact number of servings per box is influenced by factors such as the age of the baby and their individual feeding preferences, as newborns consume smaller servings, and some babies prefer more frequent, smaller meals.

Absolutely! Boiling the water used to prepare your baby's formula is crucial as it eliminates bacteria and contaminants that may be present, safeguarding your baby from potential harm. To ensure accurate formula preparation, we have diligently translated all instructions, enabling you to follow them with confidence at home.

It is recommended to use each prepared bottle within an hour if stored at room temperature and within 3 hours if refrigerated. Always refer to the instructions on the formula box before preparation, and refrain from reheating formula.

For on-the-go feeding, especially when away from home, we suggest opting for ready-to-feed formula. We offer HiPP ready-to-feed formula in convenient sealed bottles, allowing for easy pouring and feeding while on the move.

Typically, our formula products maintain freshness for up to 21 days after opening, provided they are stored correctly. For formulas in cardboard boxes, ensure the foil pouch is resealed to preserve freshness. In the case of canned formulas, using the original lid is recommended. Alternatively, a sealable storage container is suitable for both boxed and canned formula. Be sure to check the specific storage instructions on the box or can as well.

We dispatch orders on the same day from our dedicated facility in the Netherlands for all orders placed before 1 pm CET (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). Orders made after 1 pm will be shipped the following day, and weekend orders (Saturday and Sunday) will be shipped the following Monday.

The delivery timeframe is typically between 3 and a maximum of 10 business days. Shipping is free for all orders.
