HiPP DE Stage 1 contains organic starch to make it extra creamy and filling, but some babies find this hard to digest. HiPP Dutch and HiPP UK are starch-free. Both HiPP DE and HiPP Dutch contain natural probiotics originally cultured from breastmilk, which aren’t found in HiPP UK.

When will my baby formula expire?
Expiration dates are always at least 3 months into the future. Our powdered products have a remaining shelf life of at least 6 months, but because HiPP Ready to Feed is a liquid product, the shelf life is a bit shorter. We strive to provide the freshest ingredients with the fastest turnarounds. We never ship perishable products that are about to expire!
Preparation for all powdered formulas:
Begin by using freshly boiled water for each of your baby's meals and allow it to cool down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 °C) before mixing it with the formula.
Pour 2/3 of the required boiled water into a clean and sterilized bottle.
Utilize the scoop provided with your formula box (note that spoon sizes may vary by brand and lot). Add the appropriate number of leveled scoops of powder, with 1 leveled scoop per 1oz / 30ml of water.
Close the bottle with the nipple and cap, then vigorously shake until all the powder has completely dissolved.
Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it thoroughly.
Cool the formula to drinking temperature (approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 °C), and ALWAYS test the temperature before feeding to prevent scalding or burning your little one.
Important Information:
Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
Do not alter the strength of feeds by adding extra water/scoops, and refrain from adding anything else to the milk.
Always prepare formula freshly; avoid preparing in advance. Use it immediately and discard any leftovers at the end of the feed.
Avoid heating a bottle in a microwave, as it may result in hot spots that could cause scalding.
Consume all opened formula within 21 days. Never use formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin follows the European standard: day/month/year.
Steer clear of storing formula in areas of high heat or humidity.
Stage PRE and Stage 1 are exluded from promotional prices or discounts. Prices may be lowered due to economies of scale in fulfilment, parcel handling and distribution.
