How do I prepare a bottle from a sachet?
Boil fresh water and let it cool to 40โ50ยฐC. Pour 180ml into a sterilized bottle, tear open the sachet, empty the entire contents in, close and shake vigorously until dissolved. Check the temperature before feeding.
How many bottles does one sachet make?
Each 27g sachet makes one 200ml bottle. Sachets come in packs of 10, 20, 30, or 40.
Can I keep part of an opened sachet for later?
No โ each sachet is single-use. Once opened, use the entire contents straight away and prepare formula fresh for every feed.
Are sachets practical for travel or daycare?
Yes โ sachets need no tin or scoop, so anyone feeding your baby can prepare a bottle correctly. Pack what you need and add cooled boiled water when it's time to feed.
Preparation for all powdered formulas:
Begin by using freshly boiled water for each of your baby's meals and allow it to cool down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 ยฐC) before mixing it with the formula.
Pour 2/3 of the required boiled water into a clean and sterilized bottle.
Utilize the scoop provided with your formula box (note that spoon sizes may vary by brand and lot). Add the appropriate number of leveled scoops of powder, with 1 leveled scoop per 1oz / 30ml of water.
Close the bottle with the nipple and cap, then vigorously shake until all the powder has completely dissolved.
Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it thoroughly.
Cool the formula to drinking temperature (approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 ยฐC), and ALWAYS test the temperature before feeding to prevent scalding or burning your little one.
Important Information:
Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
Do not alter the strength of feeds by adding extra water/scoops, and refrain from adding anything else to the milk.
Always prepare formula freshly; avoid preparing in advance. Use it immediately and discard any leftovers at the end of the feed.
Avoid heating a bottle in a microwave, as it may result in hot spots that could cause scalding.
Consume all opened formula within 21 days. Never use formula beyond its expiration date. The expiration date on the formula box/tin follows the European standard: day/month/year.
Steer clear of storing formula in areas of high heat or humidity.
